He earned a B.S. in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from Brigham Young University. Reynie was a member of Psi Chi, the International Honor Society in Psychology and was offered a Director position before completing his final clinical hours as a graduate student intern. Prior to deciding to enter the helping profession, he had dual scholarships in theater and music at Snow College.
Reynie’s interpersonal and clinical skills, combined with his passion for recovery, allow him to connect with people from diverse walks of life and assist them in living lives of fulfillment and well-being. His passion in helping others stems from his own colorful, personal background and from the traits of positive influences who have affected his outlook on life. He entered the field of recovery with a desire to give back, and says he also learns and gains much from those he helps.
Until high school Reynie lived in Las Vegas, Nevada.
At a young age he gained street-smarts and independence, while gleaning a gritty determination from his hard-working, single mom. At a small high school in Utah, Reynie became more well-rounded as he excelled in music, theater, and multiple sports. Reynie is an accomplished musician and has produced, collaborated, and performed on various professional recordings and projects.
Reynie resides in Provo, Utah with his wife and two children.
He currently enjoys spending time with his amazing family, playing and recording music, sports, and engaging in his fulfilling career.
