Max has been working in the mental health field for close to 10 years. During that time, he has been exposed to a variety of clinical settings including addiction recovery, crisis intervention, private family/individual therapy, child welfare, and community mental health. Max began to practice therapy in 2014 when he received his master in social work from the University of Utah. He is currently fully licensed as a Social Work Clinician in the state of Utah. His approach to therapy is to help others create meaningful lives for themselves. This approach has influenced the types of therapy Max applies to the people he serves. He draws upon teachings from Acceptance Commitment Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy, Humanistic Therapy and Internal Family Systems Therapy to provide mental, emotional and behavioral care.
